Very nice! I have a new oncid. that I am watching slowly grow more branches. It's a no tagger...so I keep watching everyones posts on their new oncidiums in the hopes I'll see something that resembles mine. lol So far though I haven't seen any oncids with round p-bulbs. Can't wait till it blooms.....yours is lovely! I like the red oncids too!

Hi Guys
I've had a Mtdm Scent of a Woman for a number of years. Its done well and grown to be about 8" across. Suddenly, despite the roots looking ok, the center is dying out. Its putting out some new growth but much of the center is dead, dry, etc. Should I cut it in half and clean out the dead parts. I've already done some surgery. I do not see any sort of insect, scale or other. I detect no smell to indicate rot. Its growing in expanded clay and maybe it would do better back in bark? Attached are pictures from different angles. It is clearly able to be divided but.... Any ideas what to do with this one. I don't want to lose it.
