I've looked for physan in several stores and have had no luck. I'm going to purchase it online but I don't know what size to get. I only have 3 orchids at the momement. Can someone suggest which size bottle would be best to get? Thanks

I got a pint for 200 orchids
Hi Bob, I'm about to order some Physan 20, and I have about thirty orchids...all different kinds. I am going to order the 8 oz. size which I believe will last me at least six months to a year. Betty
You people are so lucky. Here in the UK the Dept of Agriculture in league with the EU has banned Physan so we cannot use it any more. It has been used for may years very successfully, but I guess that these days it does not tick some box or other in our over beaurocratic and over protectionism culture. We are all looking for a viable alternative, but nothing seems to come up to Physan.
I read once on one or the other forum (can't remember which one but took note of it) that in Germany they use a product called 'Chinosol'.
Can't get this one in Belgium either though. Maybe you are more lucky in the UK.
Rudy, I am actually in the U.S. & have ordered some Physan. It will be coming any day. I was just asking IF ANYONE had EVER used it for FUNGUS on orchids. I simply wanted to know how much Physan to a gallon of water. Later...Betty
Hi Betty,
I actually answered to Richard who mentioned he cld not find Physan in the UK (nor can I in Belgium)
Cheers,
Rudy
You could look for Consan instead....similar product, same function, different name. It might be available for purchase/order for ya'll living across the pond.
