I have the following plant with this on the tag and I would like to find out the registered name. Can anyone help me on this?

Hello, Dmcgee. The name you have for your cymbidium is correct and should be written like this:

Cymbidium Via Ireland (Cymbidium King Arthur x Cymbidium Via Spring Snow)

    Welcome to OrchidTalk.

    Cheers,
    BD

Looking at what you find on your tag I suspect the correct way to write it would be: Cym. (Via Ireland 'Delightful' x La Costa Elf 'White Princess')

It would be an unregistered cross between these 2 Cyms. (I check the registry for you and this cross has not been registered but both parents have)

Is it green with a pink spotted lip? Was Winter Mist anywhere on the tag? see this post: http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...-bloomers.html

    and Welcome to the Forum!

I agree with Ron. I have a few of these cymbidiums and it is a "grocery variety" hybrid that is not officially registered (as far as I know).
It is one of my favorites though. Very vigorous grower and large bloomer.

Default CYM VIA IRELAND DELIGHTFUL X LA COSTA ELF

FYI....I received a response stating that this cross was registered 1/30/09 under the name....Cym. Via Irish Elf by Gallup & Stribling. Thanks to all for your input...
