    Default Cattleychea Siam Jade 'Lakeview'

Okay...another bag baby that I was excited about because it was a different clone than we are all used to seeing. There are light green stripes on the petals, but other than that I don't see much difference between 'Lakeview' and 'AVO'

It appears a bit more frilly than 'Avo', but that could be my memory...will have to look at my old pics or wait for my 'Avo' to bloom.

Beautiful, it has such a nice "compact" shape, I like it!

It looks like the 'Lakeview has shorter petals with more pointed tips.
Perhaps when the 'Lakeview' fully opens we can have more to compare.

If it is a first time bloomer though, there is a good chance that the next season's bloom could look different.

Here's my 'Avo' that was in bloom last month.

Here's the same 'Avo' from the previous year (first time bloom).

I'll give it a few more days and post another pic. Thanks for the comparison photos!

Comparing John's and my 'Avo' I think the 'Lakeview' is much more of a round flower with broader and overlapping petals...Now I am going to have to keep an eye out for that clone...you are such an enabler

    here is my 'Avo'
