Fall is here and Easter is just around the corner ?? and to prove it
here is our New Zealand native orchid that flowers at Easter time (guess
what its common name is). This plant flowers at Easter every year regardless when Easter is.
So here is Earina Autumnalis ,and before you ask -- yes it is very very fragrant.I can smell this plant 3meters away.
and to show you the size of the plant
and yes that is a dinning chair !
Also in flower for me at this time is Oncidium Enderanum

both are nice! I like the Earina autumnalis...wonder if it would bloom for me for Easter
Beautiful. I love the foliage on the Easter orchid. Happy Fall!
Cheers,
BD
Always rather amusing to hear 'fall' and 'Easter' in the same breath -- as well as 'summer' and 'Christmas'. Get so used to the match of season w/ holiday in one's own hemisphere that it is easy to forget that isn't the case everywhere. LOL
Lovely flowers.
