Pretty. I wish you could send me a keiki of that! LOL! Thanks for the comparison shots. I love learning about the differences and similarities of orchids. I really like the shape of the pointed flower petals in the first photos too.

great great phal
mine just in spike now
love the hair on the lips!!!
Great photos Zain. Thanks for sharing.
I like it a lot, both of them actually. Very nice!
I love the fuzz on the lip. Good growing!
I have this species, but have yet to bloom it. I will have to show my plant these photos to show what they should be doing! Beautiful photography, as always, Zain. I agree with Clint's comment on the lip, too.
Cheers,
Rob
Rob, If you got it from the same vendor, who hasn't been at our show for a few years, as I did (and I'm pretty sure you did), then the plant it Phal bastiani. Mine bloomed last year. Phal marie is often confused with bastiani and is much more rare and dificult to grow. The easy way to tell them apart is marie has a pendent spike and bastiani has a erect spike. Marie has cupped flowers, bastiani flat. You'll know pretty quickly with yours spikes.
Actually. a lot of the seedlings I got from that vendor a few years back are starting to bloom. Manni, valentenii, kunsterii
