Phal leaf trouble, black and yellow

I have a Phal and it is in bloom. It has a black dot on the underside of one of the leaves and yellow is surrounding that dot. Also, this black dot is about the size of a button on a collar shirt and can be seen clearly from the top of the leaf too. There is another leaf with several small black dots and yellow around them. This is also in the center of the leaf. I don't think it is sunburn since there’s black and yellow around. I'll take a picture of it later on today. I would like to know what to do; I sprayed the plant with and insecticide already. Any help would be appreciated.

Chris, it may have been sunburn at first, and a bacterial / fungal infection set in because of the damaged tissue. Try spraying with Physan or RD-40 (don't get any on the flowers!) or use Listerine to wipe the leaves down top and bottom then spray with Neem or another fungicide that's usable for ornamentals. (Paphraguy uses cinnamon as a fungicide; you might try that first if you don't like using poison.)

How does he use the cinnamon like how does he apply it? Does it work?

I usually just sprinkle lightly or lightly dab the area.
