    Default Phragmipedium besseae var. flavum

I am completely and totally in love with this plant. Sparked a huge wave of besseae hybrid purchasing on my part. Sigh...it is getting ready to open it's third and last (wah!) bloom. Arrived in bloom, so no thanks to me, but I am trying to keep it happy. So far so good. It has one old growth that has died off, and has two nubs on it that look as though they will be growing into new growths soon. Beautiful root system. This is the best photo I've gotten so far, despite many attempts, and now it is my desktop picture and av! I am total mush for this little baby! Enjoy!

    Sherwood ROCKS!

    Totally.
Actually, I'm headed to Oakland for x-mas and REALLY want to go visit them, but 3 hours drive. Wah!! I'm up for it, but are my companions? hmmm...family, they should support you, no?

    Default Last bloom.

Last flower is fully open, seems just as large as the last one. So in practicing w/ the camera, thought I'd post another as an update. I seem to get the best shots from the right side. Thanks!

Sorry, the previous post should have read..."This is a real NICE plant to be proud of!"

Hopefully you get the idea, Heather.
