    A suggestion, Bruce? Perhaps either make or look for a pot that has the appearance of rock -- it might blend in better than the terra cotta.

    Nice blue-it looks like a siberian , Louisiana or flag iris, I would suspect flagor louisiana, because the bulbs of the others would rot in the water. Good work!

    BD those are Gorgeous with a capital "G"! I've been looking at art lately...looking for a few things for the new house, and there are several nice paintings and tapestries with your purple iris' on them. I can see why so many artists have made them their subject....how absolutely pretty they are, lucky you!

    I will have to post pics next spring of all the iris I have around here. Those do look like siberian. Very pretty and if you can't find a pot that looks like a rock, find some cool stones to pile up around the pot to make it look more natural. My 2 cents.
