Default When to bring budding plants in?

Its currently 90F here in Florida, and my orchids, mostly cattleyas are outside. I like to bring them in when they flower. It is 78F in the house day and about the same at night. I have had problems with Phaleonopsis dropping buds when I bring them in sometimes. With cattleyas, should I wait for all the flowers to open before I bring them inside? I currently have a beauty with two flowers open and two in bud.
    Thanks
    Stu

You can bring them in when the buds are almost open, catts don't drop buds as readily as the prima dona phals. The blooms probably won't last as long as they would protected outside because of the humidity drop but you will have them for a while.
    Enjoy. Cin
PS: Where in Fl are you??

I agree. The catts are much less finicky. With the Phals you can look at them wrong and they'll blast.
