Vancouver Orchid Show (picture heavy)

oh wow, that Cypripedium is amazing!!!

It's one of three they had showing. I was surprised by their compact size, I'd always imagined them to be bigger. They also had several Cyp japonicum var formosanum. There is one couple that are members of the VOS and they have their garden stocked with tons of different Cyps. Still trying to lay my eyes on it at some point.

I concur. Been tempted by the striped masdies many times but since all one would be likely to do is die ............

A vender at the last show I attended had Cyps for sale. Easy for me to skip on those though they are beautiful -- they'd never make it in an apt.
