Had a terrible scale problem this past winter and have used imidacloprid with very good results. This was an excelllent article Joe. Thanks for taking the time to post it.
Thanks for the info. I have used rubbing acohol and 409 mix to treat scales on my catts, and I am happy with the results.
Thanks, Joe. I had a problem with scale on my catts. I lost some plants before I got it under control..This article is very helpful. I printed it out for future use, if necessary.

I had a small case of scale on two plants and used imidacloprid also and it seemed to have worked. Made me a bit paranoid though I check my plants daily for signs of the little blighters. Good article thank you for sharing it with us.
Thanks for the article, good info . Take no prisoners ! Gin
That was a good article. I am with Gin, now that the plants aren't in my house, I usually head straight for the heavy-duty stuff. And although I don't use it as often, I must say that systemic insecticides have a particular appeal-"you eat my plant, you die little buggers."
