Dendrobium amboinense

My amboinense startet to bloom the first time .
I´m very exiting and I´m looking in the morning for 6 a.m

I think ,wonderful ,nearly open and I want to make pictures in the afternoon ,after my date by a dentist .

But what I must see ? at 3 p .m. the blooms are withered

I have take one off it and crimp it on the table .
Here is the picture , and next year I want to look out the whole day
to see this bloom in complete bloomed

It bloomes only for a few hours
but I don´t know that

Awe I am so sorry it was such a brief bloomer that is a shame, lets hope next year you get to enjoy it for its whole time in bloom

but now other orchid growers are in the know

And today my cariniferum is open ,it´s a cold comfort

It looks like it would have been beautiful!
It says online that the blooms are short lived but that's really very short,
just like a vanilla bloom ....
