    Default Max Tenuifolia

Seems this guy is a little late blooming this year, perhaps the dry hot weather, Who Knows. But the wonderful coconut fragrance was worth the wait.

Wow! What have you been feeding that thing? If it decides to mutiny...give it directions to my front porch! I finally saw one this morning and got to see what everyone was talking about....they smell like really good coconut!

I bought it as a division in the fall of 04, it was in that very same basket. I will look back and see if I can find a pic of it that first year. I grow it in the lathe house which is on the south side of the house and I grow it up near the eaves. So it gets bright light but not much sun. Of course as soon as I say it is an easy grower it will come down with some malady, but it is really a non demanding chid.
    Thanks for the comments. Cin
