    Default Cactus in bud

    This is the first time I see buds on it. I don't know how old he is as it was here when we moved in, but it will bloom for me for a very first time. I am waiting and checking on it as one of the buds is getting big and I hope it will open very soon.

    They will open at night. Be sure to go out early in the morning as they will usually only last one day, then they turn black and fall off. Congratualations!

    Thanks, Bruce! Are they open after dark or after midnight (close to early morning)? I will be watching this big one for the next couple nights. I want to get a good picture of it!

    Shann, this flower is huge! Is about as big as my hand (6"-7") I should've measure it... But the next two buds are about the same size and I am hoping for bloom together. That is going to be spectacular (if...)
