    Default Burrageara Nelly Isler

First flowering for a seedling i bought in May.
Only 3 flowers but i,m pleased with the colour.
Colours are pretty good in the piccie but there is slightly
    more yellow in the lip.

    Perfect timing, just before xmas.

I bought mine in maj in bloom and it developed some new leads.
Unfortunately most of the leaves on those are pleated

I put it in s/h 2 months ago, I'm not sure yet if it likes being in hydro

Do you have it in s/h Steve?

Do you have it in s/h Steve?
    Yes i do.
I potted it to high in its container to start with & it did nothing for months.
Re-potted it about 1 1/2" lower so that the few roots it had were just above the hole in the side of the pot & after a few weeks it started to grow.
I also quite heavily mist the LECA for the first couple of weeks first thing in the morning to ensure any new roots emerging get a descent start(i do this with all plants re-potted into s/h).

What do you think of the scent? I love it! It reminds me of a spicy oriental fragrance my sister used to wear.

I just stumbled across this and have one myself that I was wondering whether or not it likes s/h. Does anyone have any more recent comments on the Nelly Isler and s/h question. Does anybody out there have one fluroushing in s/h? I need some encouragement as I'm not sure mine is like it....hanging in but not doing very much.

Strangely enough though it bloomed with one single flower on an immature pseudobulb (doesn't even have all the leaves yet)....not sure what to make of that!
