It looks like the standard Sharry Baby to me. You can call it simply (Onc. Sharry Baby ) or anything you like after that. It is always nice to see these bloom. They grow fast too, Meg, so get ready for a huge plant in a couple of years!

Calling this a NOID... sort of. It was just labeled "Sharry Baby" and I got it in an orchid swap. It has a small growth habit compared to many sharry babies- pbulbs abouy 3 inches and longest leaf only 10 inches, so I am guessing it is a smaller growing hybrid, which is fine with me!
It just opened it's first three flowers, and after 3 days they have gotten their well known and chocolatey smell now. The spike is about 16 inches long and is starting to branch, these buds came out of the lateral branches, but the rest of the buds haven't even formed from the spike yet. I hope that it has many more soon!
Once the spike develops and opens it's buds I will post a pic, if I can fit it into a picture that is!

So cute! Congrats! I still want one, but don't have yet. Can't have everything at once unfortunately... (I am trying, but...) Enjoy it!
wow, thats pretty. my sharry baby almost died, i have no idea why, so now i am trying to
revive the poor thing with just 1 backbulb, so far it has put up 3 new growths and 2 of
them have withered and died, the 3rd one is still growing. oh how i miss the smell of
choco-vanilla.
