    Default Victoria's Orchids

    Cattleya alliance:
    B. nodosa (seedling, in plastic)
    C. dowiana var. rosita (large seedling, in plastic)
Slc. Kagaribi Dawn x. B. nodosa (adorable plant that flowered in 2" plastic pot!)
Pot. Lady Day x Sue Fordyce ‘Carmela’ (large seedling, in plastic)
Clty. Ethel’s Paradise ‘Delight’ (large seedling, in plastic)
Lc. Mari’s Song, unknown clone (previously flowered, in ceramic)
Blc. Yen ‘24 Karat’ (in sheath for first time, in plastic)
Lc. Netrasiri x Love Knot (2 tiny seedlings in plastic)
Lc. Lake Cachuma ‘New Spring’ (small seedling, in plastic)

    Dendrobiums:
Den. mohlianum x glomeratum (previously flowered, in ceramic)
Den. Sabin Blue (seedling, in plastic)
Den. “Blue Sky” (grower name; unregistered; seedling, in plastic)
Mystery den (untagged, large seedling, in plastic)

    Oncidium:
Bifoliate noid Oncidium, white flowers with green tinge and maroon spots (flowered once, in clay)

    Phalaenopsis:
Noid Phalaenopsis I’m calling “Impact” because it has white flowers that look like each one got hit with a dark magenta paint gun (flowered once, in ceramic)

I'm growing on a humidity tray that I think of as big (and which those of you who have greenhouses would probably think was cute) that usually sits at a south-facing window in my living room, and in the darker months I plan to move everything to the top of a short bookcase there and get a grow light. Almost all my pots currently are ventilated plastic or ceramic, with the one clay that the Oncidium came in, and what gets potted into what is a combination of how big the roots are, how topheavy the plant is, how much I want to be able to show it off, and how soon I anticipate having to repot. In other words, there's not a lot of consistent rhyme or reason.

New batch -- lots of spots:

    Cattleyas:
    C. aclandiae
    C. brabantiae -- slight chance this will be a blue, but only slight
Slc. Dream Cloud 'Sparkler' x C. amethystoglossa
Lc. Gold Digger 'Mandadrin' x Bc. Daffodil 'Shawn'
    L. pacavia -- hoping this will favor the L. tenebrosa parent
    Lc. schilleriana

    Zygopetalum alliance:
Zga. Kuitpo 'Haiku Leopard' x self

One more set and I think I actually will be good for a while. I liked what I read about my little Zygopetalum so I got it a couple pals, and then a couple others that were too cute to pass up:

    Oncidium alliance:
Vuyl. Carnivale 'Okika,' BS in a teeny little plastic pot
Hwra. Lava Burst 'Puanani,' also BS in a teeny plastic pot, with two spent spikes -- I am loving these very compact/early bloomers

    Zygopetalum alliance:
Zygonisia Cynosure 'Blue Bird,' which I am told is BS in its 2" plastic pot, but hasn't spiked yet
Bolopetalum Midnight Blue 'Cardinal's Roost,' also supposed to be BS, 3" plastic pot -- I just saw a larger one of these for literally four times what I paid for it in a florist's shop and felt very superior, although theirs had blooms and mine doesn't yet

    Phalaenopsis:
Phal. intermedia, large seedling in 3" plastic pot

If I add any more before the Niagara area orchid show in October, somebody smack me. And then tell me how happy my plants look to make me feel better.
