Those are such cool pictures! I love them, I would guess that the bulbo is a stinky one from the hoard of little flies on it!

Thank you, Carrie.
The aerides is a very fragrant flower too. I have not put my nose near the cirrhopetalum.
The aerides is my favourite but the others are so beautiful I didnt dare say! you have such talent with your camera, and of course growing these wonderful beauties.
heheh... cool photos, Nelson. I wish I had such a steady hand to take such amazingly clear photos.
Cheers,
BD
I love those pictures.
When you grow your orchids indoors, you tend to forget about the pollinators,
and I sometimes wonder which pollinators are attracted to such, shape, color, fragrance ...
I would never have pictured that those big black bugs would be attracted to the delicate aerides!
NICE shots Nelson!
Nice shots !! The scents from the Aerides may help in attaracting the pollinators, but sometimes mine are mauled by rogue bees and wasps who try to get nectar or other stuff from the flowers so aggressively that they damage the flowers.
Great pictures, Nelson! Thanks for posting them!!!
