*Derek: Kgw Christine Low is now 3ft tall and 18" from leaf tip to leaf tip laterally.I bought it as a blooming plant when it was 1ft high.
Secret of my growing orchids? Just lots of TLC and a very conducive climate for the orchids I grow - mostly warm to intermediate types.
As response to Kgw is so positive I'll be posting a pic of Kgw Dinesh Gold which is very demanding in its cultural requirements and is sulking and languishing in the shed. Though I acquired it at the same time as Christine it has only bloomed twice compared to more than 20 for Christine. So much for TLC!
Very impressive. Congratulations. /.
sorry, but what does TLC mean?
Tender, Loving Care
HelloTran,so nice to hear from someone from an ASEAN country. I really envy you for being able to grow cymbidiums. Hanoi is so much cooler than my place. I only have 1 cymbidium, a warmth-tolerant Cym Golden Elf [ will post foto when in bloom]. Of course I have drooled over some of the cool growing types when I go up to the Cameron Highlands[ night temp 10-15C], a mountain resort 1600 metres high.[* more on Cameron Highlands in another forum].
wooowwww very beautiful catts.... but i think the top right picture looks more like a Port of Paradise than a Greenwich

Hello Dawn Green,I've had this particular clone of Greenwich for more than 25 years and bought it from one of Malaysia's oldest and most reliable commercial growers. Thanks for the comments. By the way it's so free-flowering it practically blooms on every new pseudobulb.
