I was just out in the lathe house and saw this strange fungus coming up between the bricks and the mulch. Can't find it in any of my books. Got any ideas?

kewl! Wonder if those two white lumps by it are nubial forms of the orange/red one or puffballs
I would guess some type of Phallaceae (this is the Family name) : a relative of Pseudocolus fusiformis - Stinky Squid fungi
I am assuming that the little white ones are the juvenile forms and will keep a watch on them especially the bursting forth into the lantern look.

Not sure about the ID. However, the claw shape vaguely resembles the blooms of Pleurothallis tribuloides.
