Oh wait! I want to know what the winning prize is first.
My guess is it's a Angraecum didieri!
is it an asian species?
Sorry been pressed for time lately folks.
Hmmm, I'll have to give that some thought ... hadn't originally planned on a prize and would hate to exclude our non US members .................
No, Becca, it is not. But it does indeed bear some resemblance, yes?
So what is this, Tim?! Trying to eliminate ENTIRE continents all at once? Cheeky blighter. LOL. No, it is not an asian species either.
uumh... what was that 'hint' again...?
cheers,
BD
Could it be Sarcocilus?
Trudelia?
It looks like a type of vanda to me.
Oh come now, Bruce. We have Tim knocking off entire continents and you want another hint? Greedy devil. Okay here you go ... it's not from Antarctica either. LOL
I'm afraid not.
I had to Google that one! Interesting flowers but no definitely not a Trudelia. The leaves are "solid" -- they don't split open and flatten out like those of most orchids. Instead they remind me of those of Angraecum leonis though it isn't an Angraecum either.
hmmm, lets see, some schoenorchis species?
