Default Trichoglottis brachiata first time blooming

We got this trichoglottis orchid a couple of years ago and have been growing it. I noticed last week that it was in bud and finally it has opened. I think it is really beautiful. I did not really know what to expect, but am so pleased with the color and shape. I thought the plant looked a bit water hungry, so I added some seedling bark to its basket. We have been growing it bare root in a tiny basket, but the roots are all up and down the plant, so the basket is really just a way to display it and hang the tag on it. I made a video, but could not find any music that suited this bloom, so maybe later on that one.

Wow... that's handsome. Such a nice, rich color and love the pink, yellow and purple center/lip.

I love the deep color of the flower. Is the plant very big? It seems to be from the photo, but I'm not familiar with this species.

The plant is about 14 inches tall. Not really large.

Nice Bruce, had one of these once, might just have to get another one. Not hard to get them here.
