A BS Cory in a 2" pot? I had no idea any of them grew anywhere near that small! What's the species?

Best I knew, the spikes would be horizontal, but if they're tending downward, I'd go with a slat wood basket or a plastic or wire mesh basket.

What kind of mix are you using with it?

Hi , I must not be running right today ,worried about Alberta , I ment the way they pot the Neos. and typed Cymbidium It is a alborosea got it from Eoom last year , it is potted in a fine bark and perlite mix , came that way , at first I thought a new pb. but isn't . The spike does grows straight out from the base . What do you think about the Neo . method ? Thanks your info. is appreciated

Well, I'm still surprised about it blooming at that size, and I figured you meant Neofinetia. Good growing!

I would think the Neo mound-type potting would work well, especially since they're supposed to like aciding potting materials, like sphag.

How wet do you keep it?

It drains fast and has roots out of the pot , I water it approx. every other day with half RO.or rain and half dechlored tap . depends on the temps. here , no sun/cool then just the out of pot roots . If it developes bloom /buckets I will try and put a picture up . if not I will Thanks Sue
