Smile Dendrobium anosmum ' alba ' in bloom

This Den anosmum 'alba' is supposed to bloom in March-April but due to very unseasonal weather it is blooming now.Like the normal Den anosmum it is very fragrant.

The flowers are really beautiful and virginal. Haven't seen a white one before, must be really nice with the fragrance

I bought one that was supposedly an 'alba', but the blooms were still slightly tinted. The last 3-4 nodes on the (rest of a) previously bloomed stem are about to bloom shortly, so if I can get a pic I will post.

This is lovely, though - I hope to find a true alba at some point.

Very nice. I really like just how white the blooms are! Seems like it has quite a tall/straight growth habitat....

yep, this is a beauty... i have one and i think that this colour form is actually called (as is hinted at by Eric/Emos) Dend anosmum fma virginalis.
