Paph. Harold Koopowitz slipper orchid in bloom

THis is from a flask I bought from Harold Koopowitz. After waiting several years it's the first one to bloom. So far, it's a little cuppy.

if newly opened, it may still expand and flatten. I had one blast earlier this year and another spike currently opening

I bet the next bud will open better. Many first blooms get messed up - at least for me. I hope you get what you want with it soon.

I love Harold Koopowitz! The flower, not the person. Actually, nothing wrong with the person. Hmm, I'm digressing--what I'm *trying* to say is these flowers really do it for me. Great growing & blooming!
