I was gifted in june this Oncidium Sharry Baby (no label ) - I think that it is a variety "aureum", that I like very much - and in that time it was one spike of more than 70cm, plenty of flowers.
Well, he does like blooming ... now it has a little less flowers and the spike is about 59 cm.
the flowers opened yesterday I still do not feel any fragrance.
enjoy...

Rosalia, the scent should be more noticible when more of the floweers have opened. The Sharry Baby I have can be smelled in the late morning through afternoon. give yours a few more days and you should be able to smell that delightful chocolaty odor.
yes Cindi, it was veeeery fragrant last blooming. it could be noticed it far from the flowers. thanks
I like this one! I have one sharry baby too, since it's not blooming, I get to enjoy yours.
Hope the fragrance comes to you soon, RosalÃ**a. It is quite nice.
Cheers,
BD
