    Default A couple colorful pansies

I found these the other day, thought they would look nice out front. I am forever changing plants as the old ones die. Too bad these don't re-seed themselves!

Both look really nice, very cheerful.
So I guess those are winter flowering pansies?
    I didn't know they existed ...

Both are verry pretty! And you can always pick up some seeds... I had some planted in my yard back in Bulgaria and they were taking good care of themselves (well no one else did...lol) and were always back and blooming!

Down here, weather in the winter is very similar to the Northern states' spring weather. Chilly, rainy and windy. I find plants that appear in the spring up north do amazingly down here in the winter. If I plant my tomatoes in this weather I get the hugest plants you have ever seen.

Those are great, Connie. I really like the second one. Such a bold coloring.

Actually, for me these die out during the heat of the summer. We are backwards down here to me too...I am from Michigan originally. I don't know alot about these other than they grow like weeds until the summer here. Sometimes if I can get them really established before the summer they last until the really bad heat. Once you get a few of these going, if you leave the flowers to die and go to seed, sometimes they will re-seed themselves. My snapdragons do that, I have tiny ones all over now.
