Yeah!I get to register my first orchid. I've had this plant for 4 or more years. I've been searching for it's registered name. I was told by an AOS judge to just look for the oirginator of the hybrid then register it. I did manage to find the originator and was given permission to register the plant. Too cool!
Now what to name it?

Jeff, it will be extremely difficult to find a name to do justice to such an exquisite specimen. Congrats!!
awesome... what is it? a BLC, C, RSC, etc etc... hmm... how much fun to name a plant... and a beauty at that!
Gosh, that looks like Cattleya Bruce or BLC OrchidTalkheheheh....
Congratulations!!!

It's a Blc.
Let's see.... Marylands Pink Parade (for your home state) or Pink Angel Wings... it's gorgeous!!
Really Beautiful! Congratulations! Bill
Oh, I've often wondered how one can get a non-registered cross named! So, one needs to find the hybridiser. I'm curious as to how you tracked him/her/them down? I won't suggest a name for you--that should be something you get to have the fun of doing--but I will be most interested in what name you do choose, Jeff.
Cheers,
Rob
Lovely! Do let us know what name you choose!
