    Question Dendrobium Aggregatum var. majus

My new baggie baby...they are coming out with some nice ones lately! I would love some advice. Is the sunlight level where I have it okay? Does this one need a dry rest from water and fertilizer? I looked at several websites about this plant and kept finding conflicting care instructions. One last question; would this plant do better mounted? Thanks for looking...

    Connie,

I have had a couple of these, also from the bags at the box stores. I tried mounting the first one and putting it in bright light, like the websites I read suggested. It burned. So move it bright light slowly, if you do. And I think this one needs a dry period but I haven't had mine but a few months so I haven't bloomed it yet. And Thanks again for your recommendations on orchids in your area. I went back and got a few more from Art Stone and Bud Spence. I'll post pictures soon.

    Best-
    Brandon

It's sitting in a spot that gets "dappled" sunlight. There are larger plants blocking it from full sun. It was bone dry when I got it so I gave it some water. oops... Hope it won't mind the slip.
Thanks E1 ! And Brandon; i'm so glad you like my pals. They definitely have the stuff we collectors look for. I'm hoping to stop by Art Stone tomorrow myself.

What temperature does it like while resting? Should this one be treated like a den nobile?
