    It is quite artificial means of growing. Actually NAA is plant hormone, it can accelerate plant growth if given in the right dosage. With the help of the fertilizer, as a result the Phal. grow to become gigantic. It would probably take many years to achieve that giant size without those hormones.

    What do you do with the bottom part you cut off? Can it be grown for another plant? (Sorry but I'm VERY new to orchids so bear with me if I ask stupid questions.) Thanks
