Looks like spring time, Connie. We just got another 6 or so inches of snow here. That said, the tulips are about one and a half inches up out of the ground.
Cheers,
BD

I got very excited to see an iris in bloom. I bought these corms about 3 years ago and this is the first time the yellow has bloomed like this. One flower, but its huge. At first glance I thought it'd been cold damaged, but the yellow has unique markings that make it look different from farther away. The orange asiatic lily just got put in last week. The spring daffodils got left behind when I dug up my bulbs last year and they have put on a nice show out front. Hopefully the bulbs I just put in (they were sprouting in the bag) do half as well.

That yellow iris is awesome Connie!! I love it!! I wish I could grow those here - someday I will, when I get myself a garden!!
Bruce, I know what you mean - the snow is on the way here as I type!! I just checked the radar and it looks like the end of the world LOL!!
Actually, those kind of iris plants aren't too good down here. That is why I was so excited over one flower. lol I put in bulbs every year and some times a few of them actually flower here. Usually my daffodils look cool but don't flower. I dig them up, but until this year I don't think it really got cold enough for them to make flowers. Can't wait to see pics of your garden...
That yellow iris is very cool!
Be quite a while before spring time hits here.
