    Default Papilionanthe from India

There are some famous of Papilionanthe species, like teres, hookeriana or the national plant of Singapore, Miss Joaquim. This one is quite seldom. This plant come from South-India (Kerela) and calls Papahilionanthe cylindrica.

Hi Martin, yes I'll do it.
Amey, go to Kerela to the Tiger Reserve. On the way to, with some piece of luck, you can see it.

Ron, yes this Papilionanthe looks like e.g. arching Luisia or Cleisostoma and need a lot of sunshine. Unfortunately this winter in Germany is very cloudy and due the lack of sun, I waited since September for the flower. But now I'm lucky.
