Default Phal noid, yellow - "bouquet" form

    Hi folks,

This is really a fairly non-descript yellow noid phal that someone gave me once. I confess, not one of my favorites, but it doesn't seem to need much from me anyway.

It just flowered for me for the first time and I thought the results were a bit unusual....

Eleven blooms in all with about 5 or 6 branches in the spike, so about 1 or 2 blooms on a branch. Never had a phal do this before, personally.

I have one that has been in bloom forever...and it just grew some new branches that are now blooming. The original flowers...btw...are still on it and looking fresh. I think it forgot that it's supposed to drop its flowers once in awhile. This one is a definite winner of a plant!

@Mr. Bean - It looks like you are quite right on that ID. Thanks! I found another post in this forum on the Phal. Green Star (by Cjcorner, actually) and that post also commented on the highly branching habit of this one!

Great to know what it is!

P.S. In the interim, I had actually named it for the person who gave it to me, who happens to have an amusingly German, prosaic name. Green Star is much more poetic. :-)
