    Very cool!

    Out of curiousity, 2 Q's:

    1) How many of you did the pollination "just to see if you could" as opposed to attempting a particular cross?

    2) Were the pollinations all deliberate?

Mine were deliberate and somewhat thought out crosses. Family tree, color, flower shape etc...

I don't do crosses...insects like gnats do the dirty job for me and sometimes I let the seedpods go mature just for the fun of it.

Thank you all for the comments and photos. Keep them coming!

I've never tried the pollination yet, just let the insects do their job, but I'd like to try some day...
I wonted to flask so I ordered agar on some web page, but it took so long before they sent me that the seedpods were opened long before I recived what I ordered

Another thing that would look good is photo's of the flowers you have crossed posted with the pod, it is allways interesting the way intergenerics come out My first three pods are Odm's two have been crossed with Odm crispum the forth is Vandafinetia Blaupunkt X Renanthera imschootiana. Should be interesting.

Tednz, interesting thought but this thread is all about seedpods, no flowers, no hybridization trend/idea... just a place for all of us to show some interesting seedpods only...and that is why I put this thread on NOT IN BLOOM at the first place.

    Thanks for the photos.

Branka, thank you for the contributions to this thread.

I think I need to take more seed-pod photos when I have a chance.
