I like it your pond, very relaxing, is it man made or nature provide it?
The first pond we had dug on our 700 acres was in a bad spot and it turns out our dozer operator didn't us the clay off the top to reline the sides with, so it wasn't getting more than about 5 feet deep. The latest pond has filled up over winter (central MO in the Ozarks) and my dad is getting a few hundred catfish from the "fish truck" tomorrow. He is going to try to get as many albinos as he can, plus I have an albino channel cat that I got at about 3" that I've had in my turtle tank for maybe a year. She's about 8-10" now and will be getting dumped into the pond this spring sometime. No fishing for you at all?
When the catfish get big enough, (and when I get my rv someday), i'll bring a fishing line and help you with any overpopulation. Then when I get done with the pond...i'll visit your greenhouse. muhahaha I'm guessing it needs some "thinning out" too.
Now, now, Connie... My pets (green and otherwise) never need thinning.. heheh... But if you were to come and visit, I bet we could find something in the GH that would make you smile and the catfish house is just up the road from us if you like fried fish.
Cheers,
BD
