I have never seen a pink one! Do you remember the genus and species name?

Here's what I think the name is - Oncidium or Trichocentrum carthagenense ...now Lophiaris carthagenense.

I love the mule ear and still refer to it as oncidium. I have both the pink and the purpleand in hot areas like FloridaAND Texas they do well. Just keep them out of the noon sun and on those high 90 plus days water a tad more. Mule ear was my first orchid to start a collection and I always keep 2 around.

absolutely beautiful colouring. I love it. Mule eared Oncs. are quite easy to care for, but it's the long wait for them to flower. Some of them only flower once a year, but when they do they put on quite a show.
