    Question Cool Lizard

Things have gotten interesting...we are getting ready to move...and i've had this interesting lizard offered to me. Does anyone know what it is?? I've been trying to look information up and cannot find one like this. Sorry i've been missing everyones pictures...hopefully someday soon things will slow down.

It's a bearded dragon. They come from Australia and are commonly bred and raised here.

Beardies tend to have quite a bit of personality -- in a good way.

BDs (the dragons -- not our forum leader) are generally very mild mannered and handlable. Folks with whom I have spoken even go as far as to say that their bds seem to actually enjoy being handled.

We lucked out and were able to find a new place in the same area...just slightly North by a mile or so. I love it here. The locals are like people you've known all your life. Once they establish your aren't here on vacation they can be downright friendly! lol J/K We like our snowbirds here too.
I may let them leave the dragon with the house if he/she won't bite or freak me out. I've never considered a pet like this, but she's so pretty. They says it's a she and they call her Lizzie. I could put a sign up, Beware of Killer Lizzie! Put a pic of a monitor lizard up...maybe a Hela monster. lol

Lizzie is a great name for her (though I was partial to BD :P) hahah...

I hope you will share photos of your new grow space when you get some time, Connie. I am so excited for you.

    Cheers,
    BD

I've been trying to figure out what to do at the new house. There are some nice tree limbs and a nice space for a greenhouse...or pergola. I'm still working the details out.

I'll take her, I'll take her!! Haha =P
I love beardies. They're like sweet little scaly puppies.
You should definitely keep her though, she's beautiful!
