Very nice Michael. The leaves on your retusa look very different from the ones found here. Yours seem to have broader leaves. However the flowers look the same.

Like every year when the Monsoon season comes, the Foxtails bloom profusely here in Phuket! Enjoy.

Michael, that is interesting. In my greenhouse no trace of monsoon, but my "foxtail" is also flowering.
awesome display in the driveway!
Stunning !!!
How lovely to see it growing on a tree like that! Your garden looks so good. Is that a papaya tree in the background?
Lovely ! Mine will bloom in another 2 weeks or so. Its always a pleasure to see orchids blooming on natural mounts like here.
Yew I have both the types of R. retusas, the broad leaved onces from North east Indian temperate forests and light coloured narrow leaved ones from tropical forests in my state, the flowers are a bit different in colouration form and size.
That is so beautiful. What a display of blooms!
Cheers,
BD
