Default Alcra (Brsdm Longlert'Bill Switzer' AM/AOS x Miltonia schroederiana)

This is currently in bloom for me. I love the color combination on it. The spike is 28 inches tall. Unfortunately I broke the top three inches off it by accident when it was still setting it's buds and developing. It is a fast grower for me. I divided it into three plants in March and all are growing rapidly with many new shoots.

It is lovely Bill! Those blooms are great! Sorry about the breakage! I hate it when I do that!

That's the first thing that struck me, too. I'd have to agree. Any Alca I have ever seen always shows its Brassia heritage.
