    Default Red, Red, Red Vandas

I have three vandaceous orchids that really make me see red!

The first one (first 3 photos) is unidentified. A relatively darker red, with medium size flowers. Red flowers have faint dark red spots. Will post close-up in subsequent message. I don't even know if it's a Mokara or some of the newer hybrids. Plant is on the large side, long dark green semi-strap leaves.
It's a dependable bloomer. Third photo shows a new spike.

The fourth photo is that of a red Kagawara, probably a Christie Low. Flowers are smaller and more rounded in shape than the first one. Plant is smaller, leaves are shorter.

    Default Another RED Orchid

The first two photos show the third and also unidentified red orchid in my collection. Most probably an ascocenda. It is a brighter red. Plant and flowers are much smaller than the previous two red orchids.

The third photo is a close-up of the first unidentified orchid in the previous message, showing the faint dark red spots.

    Which one Amey?
Is it the one in Message #2 with raindrops on it (first two photos, Message #2)? I've had that one for a decade already. I almost lost it five years ago when my Aunt made a top cutting with NO ROOTS on it. Luckily the cutting grew some roots after two months.
