    Default root rot problem

    hello friends, my phals bottom most part(place from where the root starts) has turned black and has caused root rot .bcos it was in spaghnum moss.if i cut the blacken part will it help the plant to recover

    Sharath a picture will surely help us in identifying and diagnosing your plants problem. From your description it seems like the rot has progressed from the roots to the stem, if the stem has already caught the rot, it will be difficult to save the plant especially in the humid rainy season in India.

    If there is any rotting anywhere, cut it.
    It will only spread, and if you want to save the plant, cut the rot
