I am so jealous of you guys that get to see this kind of thing in your back yard. I could post some nice pictures of pine trees.

Jonada , Too risky to visit these places, most of the area are reserve forest.
I will never make it there anyway, but a person can dream.
Great fun to find orchids in their natural areas. A friend just emailed some photos of some orchids he found while exploring Mexico. So many cool orchids growing just waiting to be discovered and photographed.
Cheers,
BD
Wow, Deepak! What kinds are the orchids in the first and second pictures? What part of India are these from?
Gita
The first picture its a Cymbidium sp(May be Bicolor) and Dendrobium sp(ovatum or nanum).second one is Orbinia sp, 3rd one is Dendrobium Aqueum, am not sure about the species until they flower.
These are from south India .
Amazing, to see a cymbidium up atop a tree like that. I thought they liked it cool. Must look wonderful in bloom.
Hi RainDeepak,
They look like much of the orchid species here in the Phils. :-)
Wonderful photos Deepak, love those wild orchids, any big cats nearby since it's inside the reserve forest?
