    I recently purchased this gorgeous specimen sized plant full of blooms and noticed something different about the flowers! Do you see it?

    I wonder if that is peloric? Phals. are known for throwing peloric flowers. It is way cool, whatever is going on.

    yes, that's what I meant- the 2 wavy petals. It creates quite an effect when there are any flowers open at once.

    oh, and this is the yellow color form of p.cornu cervi, and I believe this is a peloric form, as Don said.

    And it is beautiful too. You have a great find there. Some purists poo-poo peloric flowers and in some cases I agree - they can be a little grotesque. But that one, that is a real beauty.
