    Thanks Brutal_Dreamer, guys.

I have try to look for PA but unable to get .So currently I try pea gravel.

Refer to your, is it sand can be a media.

the smaller the media, the finer the porosity, the more water will be wicked up by capillary action and retained. Conversely, the larger the media, the coarser the porosity, the less water will be wicked up and retained.

If you need a source for PrimeAgra, you can pm me for a source once you've made 5 posts and your pm's are enabled. You can also use Hydroton, which is what I'm currently using. I have some in PA also.

Prime Agra is manufactured in Belgium. Have you tried searching the internet for a source you could order from?

    Hi guys,

    jfrizz743
Yes some are floating and noticed there is probably some on the bottom.

Had notice the root become more clean compare to using bark. Some how the pot using are transparent, you can see the difference is the root ok or not.

And than you can see the water vaporise early in the morning just like osmosis process happen.

Bonos the area is more clean compare when you using charcol during watering. No need to do cleaning any more. And no need to do watering early morning everyday & worry about the plant need to do watering or not, just monitor the water level.

Thanks alot guy for this wise idea.....

    Smile S/H

    Hi guys
Today I had bought 5 little phalaenopis form nearest nusery, a keiki propagate from flask.

Then I try to report to S/H. The keiki came with moss. So I had done soaking about 1/2 hrs with water. But some of the moss still stick with the root. Is it ok to put the leftover moss together with hydroton inside the pot or is any other way that easy to remove the moss from the roots.

One more question to ask the senior & expreience member. Is it this type of phal or what we can call slipper orchid had red chille flower & green flower type.

Is there only a small amount of moss? If you flush your S/H pot every week for a month or two, that should flush out the organic material that rots over time. To flush your S/H pot, set entire pot into a deep pot of water and move your S/H pot up and down and around in the fresh water. Lift your S/H pot and drain the water out. Repeat two or three times in a row.
