That sounds a little more accurate based on what I'm seeing. I think the whitish stains showed up in pic d/t the flash. I find the sunburn a little difficult to believe as they're under 1 fluorescent grow light at this time. Although I'm certainly thankful for the feedback. Lord knows I'm just starting.
Is the answer to fungal/bacterial always to cut the leaf? I mean, what's the best course of action if I notice the infection has spread? I'm just wondering if there's a proactive approach to avoid a possible spread (p.s. I cut the leaf off already)?

That's O.K. Aaron...there is a LOT on this orchid site! We all have to take time to learn what we can do. As far as your orchid goes, I'd do exactly as the other members said they would do. And, since you're ALREADY sprayed it, just leave it alone for a while. If you get the chance, look at it with a magnifying glass to see if it does have any "bugs." If it does, let us know...Betty :-)
