Default Phals leaves falling off ?

I have about 20 Phals most of the bottom leaves are turning brown and are falling off. Is this the norm? They all look good, lots of new growth. just the bottom leaves are drying out and coming off.

Also I have just moved my pants from a east window to a south window about 2 weeks ago, that is when it all started.

It is the norm for phals to occasionally drop the bottom leaves.
Dont't worry, if they are putting out new growth, it means its good
