Nobody likes Bulbophyllum arfakianum? I saw the cute little duck bill flower in the nursery and I simply love it. Well, as the saying goes, the weirder the better. Maybe I should try Bulbophyllum jacobsonii for weirdness.

Oh the arfakianum is cute, Siaogu, but you did say which one should you get .... I think it just wasn't THE favorite of all the neat ones you mentioned.

Ok, I got two bulbos today at my Orchid Society Auction. Only one from your list: Bulbophyllum echinolabium and it is pretty cool. It should bloom for me soon as it is already in short spike.

    Cheers,

Anyway, what is the other one? I might be more envious of the other one if it is something not in my list (which means I might not be able to get locally)

The owner knows his bulbos. It is hard to slash prices like this. I did get a good price off Bulbophyllum belliae and Bulbophyllum frostii though. Oh, now that I've seen Bulbophyllum miniatum flowers in his nursery, I am thinking if I should get it too now...life is full of hard to make choices...

I actually got two bulbophyllums and a Dendrobium. the bulbos are: Bulbo echinolabium and Bulbo (Doris Dukes 'Bill's Best' AM/AOS x carunculatum 'Magnifico' AM/AOS) and the Dendrobium is: Dend. aggregatum var. majus.

    Hey Kathi,

you've drawn to bulbophyllum too? haha, i really like it weirder than the round form flowers of the more defined genus. I really like the "wild" look on the flowers of bulbophyllum.

This is my list of bulbos now...

    Bulbophyllum cornutum
    Bulbophyllum lindleyanum
    Bulbophyllum recticulatum
    Bulbophyllum lilacinum
    Bulbophyllum belliae
    Bulbophyllum stormii
    Bulbophyllum frostii
    Bulbophyllum membranaceum
    Bulbophyllum gracillimum
    Bulbophyllum vaginatum
    Bulbophyllum limbatum
    Bulbophyllum longissimum X Bulbophyllum putidum
Bulbophyllum sp. (not able to be identified since it had not flowered after it was harvested from the borneo forest)

I will try to add on more
