Bulbophyllum uniflorum
Bulbophyllum macranthum
Bulbophyllum echinolabium
Bulbophyllum lobii
Bulbophyllum striastellnum
Bulbophyllum refractilingue
Bulbophyllum sumatrana
Bulbophyllum arfakianum
Bulbophyllum maximum
Bulbophyllum brienianum
maybe also depends on the geographical location on where you are......here the B. macranthum, lobii and sumantrana are quite easily obtainable so usually i prefer some from other country...perhaps the grass over the other side is always greener

im really fortunate to have a seller that always has a huge selection for ultra cheap... they may just be 4/5 pbulbs usually bareroot but they are always very healthy and CHEAP... i wasnt always a bulbo fan, but somehow i seem to have a rapidly growing collection!!!
I would definitely go for Bulb. echinolabium if I was you. I have both the species and Bulb. Jersey, which is the primary hybrid between Bulb. echinolabium x lobii. The size and colour of the flowers give them a big WOW! factor, though it's best not to grow Bulb. echinolabium indoors unless you lack a sense of smell. I used to grow Bulb. lobii and even though it has spectacular flowers, I got bored of remounting it every two years due to the long rhizome it produces between pseudobulbs (4 to 6 inches is normal for this species). Bulb. echinolabium and its hybrids have closely-set pseudobulbs so you can grow them either on small mounts or in pots, which is a bonus when you're running low on free space.
Wow, thanks for the reply but that post was from a long long time ago.
I do have Bulbophyllum echinolabium now, 2 of them from different localities. I also have about 200 over species of Bulbophyllum in my collection now
My hands are always itchy for more species but my space constraint stops me
Cheers
Vincent
I will have echinolabium by weekends end... I will!

I voted arfakianum , its interesting and unique. However Lobii is great too. All the rest typical in my opinion. One not listed I found great is Bulbophyllum Virescens this one gets my 10000000% yes!!!!!!!!!
Bulbophyllum uniflorum?
