I am thrilled as I've always wanted one of these Orchids, but they just don't seem to be available in Thailand. Last year I brought a small one from California in my luggage and now the reward: first time in bloom!
I will celebrate and toast to this with a fine Coonawara "Cabernet Sauvignon"!!! I think this Orchid is native to South America, correct?
Enjoy & Cheers, Michael

Nice Michael.
If it went from a small one to that in a year, you have a VERY happy plant. Congrats!!
This one is a real beauty!
I love ours. These cycnoches have great fragrance too. Congratulations on such a big bunch of blooms.
Cheers,
BD
Very nice ! Have you noticed the very powerful intoxicating smell ? My darker form of the same hybrid Jumbo Fcc is also ready to bloom, will post some pictures in a few days
I've always liked this one.
Beautiful, Michael. Congrats. Yes, Cynoches and related Catasetum are from South America. Be on the lookout for intergenerics of these two generas as they are very beautiful.
The blooms are lovely...and it looks like a very happy orchid plant...Betty :-)
